Rugosa Rosa

This is a very hardy heirloom rugosa type rose that is from the mid 1800’s. It is said to be one of the purest white, and it is very pretty. I like it for it’s fortitude even when it’s been a hard winter. The foliage is sturdy and it reblooms all summer. It would appreciate a shovel full of compost at the start of the year.

Grows 5′ and loves sun. It could also be happy with some high shade.
