Switch Grass

This is such a striking grass – stiff upright growth is blue-green and wide bladed. The seed heads that form later in the summer are a great contrast, looking almost frothy against the sturdy foliage. It a good backdrop for all kinds of wild color in any border. It likes sun and is tolerant of many conditions. Definitely a clumper. Grows about 5′ tall.
