This is a green leaved maple that will grow nicely in our winters. MAYBE give some thought to siting particularly if you’re exposed or very low, but it is a solid zone 4. The height is about 15-20′ and is happy to be trained into quite an artistic shape, but it can also be grown to be quite bushy. This means more leaves and that means more outstanding fall color! Shades of yellow, orange, and red – it’s stunning.
We had one growing at our nursery years ago and even in that tough area it was fairly hardy and always fetching.
