Lenten Rose

This is an endearing plant – tenacious enough to bloom in the snow, but also stubborn enough to seem to barely get bigger! Thankfully the blooms last a long time so that you can actually really admire them. It will last for many years so plant it somewhere you can admire its earliness. Hellebores easily cross pollinates, so expect a mix of colors, all very beautiful in my opinion. It can grow up to 24″ and be at least that wide.
