Witch Alder

This plant looks good all summer long – from the May blooms that are creamy white and bottle-brushy, greenish blue foliage all summer long, and fall color is really vibrant – mostly orange. This cultivar grows 4-5′ tall. In the coldest areas around here there may be some die back, seems to be zone 4/5, so in rural gardens plant in a more protected area.
