I really like this tree, common as it is. The bark is so rugged and the shade is very high. It’s fine with moist, does well in wet even, It grows pretty fast too, making it a great shade tree for “out there” in the yard. The roots are strong so I wouldn’t grow it too close to the house or septic. AND, this one is a male so no cotton from this tree.
