Primula bulleesiana

An interesting form that is in a wide range of colors, because they happily cross with each other, creating surprises. Think of establishing this plant in swaths – it might take a few years but it’s a nice way to enjoy the variety.

A clump of basal foliage is a little like textured spinach, and then the stem rises up strongly and whorls of petaled florets encircle it. Loves shade moist rich soil, but can take some sun if the soil is perfect enough. Grows 18-24″
