This genus may be going by Symphyotrichon, but I’m still figuring that out – stay tuned if that interests you – or let me know.

This plant has a lot of flowers and looks very natural in the fall crescendo of color. It’s a soft blue and there are loads of little flowers, small, but not as tiny as the heath aster type. It takes on a humpy kind of form that’s very dense. This denseness can be accentuated by giving the plant a little trim by late June. This delays flowering a little bit, but I like doing it, when I remember.
